In order to protect and contain dissemination, we sponsored the manufacture of 5,000 aprons for health professionals (Alzira Velano and Santa Casa de Alfenas), 1000 cloth face masks for employees and hygiene kits to be donated to the community. The investment for our company represents the commitment to the community, our customers and employees and it is much more than material support, at this moment we are optimistic and fervent that everything will be soon restored, and we can go through this moment stronger and united.

NIn Brazil, about 600 thousand new cases of cancer are diagnosed annually and, considering the low income condition of the majority of the Brazilian population, almost all of these new patients have to face cancer and at the same time poverty, lack of basic assistance and support.
Vida Viva provides multidisciplinary assistance to cancer patients and family members in Alfenas and other cities in the South of Minas Gerais. Currently about 2,100 adults, children and elderly with cancer are already registered and receiving assistance from Associação Vida Viva. Casa do Café alone, a coffee shop created to support companions and patients, provides more than 2,500 snacks a month.
Encouraging education and vocation, and contributing to the training of children, young people and adults is part of our work philosophy. In our factory, we had Universities and groups of professionals in the agricultural field, for courses and tours in the manufacturing and quality management sectors. We also raise knowledge about the food chain and animal nutrition through our professionals to primary schools.
With approximately 98 children, Borboleta children's education center is located in a poor region of the city of Alfenas. With the support of Nutrimax, the school gets Christmas and Easter gifts and a party with childish personage, providing moments of great joy to all children.
The recreational youth club is a non-profit association that works with children and young people in the city of Alfenas and throughout the region, seeking to encourage the practice of sports, as well as better school performance, physical and mental health, among other noble goals that protect our youth and encourage them to walk the path of goodness. Today, the employees of the Grão de Ouro Group, José Lucas and Luana (commercial and executive) were the company's representatives in delivering a donation to the institution.
Hippotherapy is a therapeutic method that uses the horse as the main tool for facilitating and performing physical therapy maneuvers, which seeks psychosocial development, in spatial orientation and perception. It is a therapy used mainly by Apaes (institutions of assistance to people with special needs), and brings several benefits to their patients such as: improved motor coordination, postural alignment, self-esteem, among others.
Nutrimax supports and encourages equine therapy. Through partnerships with Apae and other entities, we provide the ration of horses that perform this therapy with patients with special needs.
We, as feed producers, understand and support the project by donating horse feed. We at Grão de Ouro Group are proud, in some way, to be able to collaborate with this project that promotes the intellectual and social development of these people.
Focus of several actions such as donation of hanging garbage bins, support for the local daycare center, and future implementation of educational and cultural projects, this community is close to the location of our headquarters.
